Your only problem is your thinking…4 simple steps to change it.

Awareness is a form of treatment to feel better. 

There is relief in studying yourself. 

There is relief in learning to “think” about your thinking. 

Observe your own thoughts.

How do we do this? 

Grab a piece of paper and pen.  Do it, do it now.  Knowledge of these tools is nice, but applying these tools will give you the desired results you are looking for (this took me years of spending money, studying, and education to figure out.  I’ll save you the time.  You’re welcome :)).

Separate yourself from your thoughts.  Think of yourself as someone who is watching their thoughts, mere words and sentences in your mind.Once you can see what your thoughts are, write them down on a piece of paper.  Now look at them.  Do not skip this step.  What are they?  Are you surprised? Don’t be annoyed or mad at yourself for the results you observed, simply be curious of them.  Look at them with peace.  It won’t serve you to be negative about the negative. Look at your paper.  Look at your thoughts.  Consciously define what the facts are.  Facts can proven in a court of law. (Hint, facts will not be emotional, and typically are quite boring.)  Now look at everything that isn’t a fact, these are stories.  Stories you are attaching to the facts.  How do your stories about the facts serve you?  Would making up other stories serve you better?  Either way they are fabricated, lets make them work in your favor. Go back and read what you wrote down.  This will be enlightening.  Be proud of yourself. You are ahead of the world.  You are on your way to feeling better.  Authentic happiness is around the corner.

Without changing anything externally, becoming conscious of these aforementioned four steps will produce positive change. 

Your thoughts are always optional. 

Refuse to give this power away.  

Your thoughts in ANY situation are the only problem.  

This is great news! 

You can always change your thoughts. 

When you change your thoughts, you change the way you feel, and when you feel better, you act better, and when you act better you take better actions giving you the life you desire.  

The power is ALL yours my friend.
